The Nietzsche Family Circus
20/04/09 by Tyche
Bill sent me a link to this generator, which pairs random Family Circus illustrations with random Nietzsche quotes, years ago, and I’ve just recently re-discovered it. Here are some of my personal favorites:

People who have given us their complete confidence believe that they have a right to ours. The inference is false, a gift confers no rights.

I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.

Perhaps I know best why it is man alone who laughs; he alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter.

I do not want believers

I love those who do not know how to live for today.
